When we shared the story of White Angel for FLY & HELP before this year’s 24 Hours Nürburgring, we wrote about endurance, teamwork and reliability. Those qualities define both motorsport and engineering, but they also serve a much bigger purpose.
The race itself was never the final destination.
Thanks to the continued efforts of everyone involved in White Angel for FLY & HELP and the supporters behind the initiative, that commitment is helping create something far more lasting: access to education for communities that need it most.
Seeing the Impact First-Hand
Following the Nürburgring event, members of the White Angel for FLY & HELP team travelled to Togo to witness the impact of the schools that have been built through the initiative.
Togo, one of the smallest countries in West Africa, also faces significant economic challenges. For many communities, access to quality education remains limited, making every new school a meaningful investment in future generations.
During the visit, the team attended the opening of newly completed schools and participated in the foundation ceremony for another that will soon begin construction.
What stood out most was not the buildings themselves, but the people.
Entire villages gathered to celebrate. Children welcomed visitors with songs and traditional dances. Teachers, community leaders and families came together to mark an occasion that represented far more than new classrooms, it represented opportunity.
Despite the limited resources available to many of the communities, visitors were welcomed with extraordinary warmth and generosity. The celebrations reflected how deeply education is valued and the hope these new schools bring.
Access to reliable education that changes lives.
Schools provide children with knowledge and skills, but they also create opportunities that extend throughout entire communities. They offer stability, improve future employment prospects and help build stronger local economies.
Over the past five years, the White Angel for FLY & HELP community has helped make 15 schools possible, with further projects already planned. Each school is the result of hundreds of people contributing in different ways: volunteers, donors, sponsors and partners.
It is a reminder that meaningful progress is rarely achieved by individuals alone.
