Cantata Generating and Using External Wrappers
Software can be complex, and many modules can be interlinked. You may often wish to wrap the same call in a similar way in several separate Test Scripts. By generating wrappers in a separate file, those wrappers can then be reused in as many Test Scripts as you require, without duplication of effort. In the long term, this can save a significant amount of time.
Due to this, Cantata provides the mechanism that allows users to generate these wrapper files separately from the test script. This document describes the process of how to do this.The method described here is the ‘traditional’ method for generating wrappers that has been available in the Cantata product for more than 10 years.
